Concrete Manufacturing Plant for RMC

A concrete manufacturing plant is the core equipment for ready-mixed concrete production. Its primary function is to precisely meter and mix raw materials (sand, cement, fly ash, water, and admixtures) according to the designed mix ratio. Ultimately, it produces ready-mixed concrete that meets project quality requirements and is delivered directly to the construction site via mixer trucks.

Common Production Capacity and Application Scenarios

In ready-mix concrete production, batching plants are categorized into three types based on scale, tailored to different project needs:

Small batching plants: Each stationary concrete batching plant has a capacity of 30-60 m³/h and are primarily used for rural civil construction (such as self-built houses) and minor municipal maintenance projects (such as road repairs). They feature low investment and production capacity that matches small-scale, continuous material supply needs.

Medium batching plants: Each plant has a capacity of 60-120 m³/h and is primarily used in urban municipal projects (such as roads and bridges) and medium-sized real estate projects (10-20-story residential buildings). They can meet continuous material supply requirements of 1,000-2,000 m³ per day.

Large batching plants: Each plant has a capacity of 120-240 m³/h and primarily serves key projects (such as high-speed rail, subways, and large industrial plants). Some projects utilize multiple plants in a coordinated manner, with daily capacity exceeding 5,000 m³. They are suitable for high-strength, large-volume concrete placements (such as continuous beam casting and basement slab construction).

Concrete mixer types

Ready-mix concrete batching plants utilize forced mixers as their core equipment. Twin-shaft concrete mixers have become the market mainstream due to their efficiency advantages. They utilize two parallel, counter-rotating mixing shafts, achieving uniform mixing of raw materials through a "convection + shear" action. The JS series (JS500 to JS2000) is the most popular model, capable of mixing 0.5-2 m³ per batch and suitable for medium-to-large batching plants with outputs of 30-120 m³/h.

With a mixing homogeneity tolerance of ≤±2%, they can stably produce high-strength concrete above C60, as well as specialty concretes such as impermeable and pumpable concrete. They are particularly suitable for continuous production of multiple grades (e.g., supplying multiple construction sites with varying strength requirements).

Key Points for Stable Production

Raw Material Reserves: Ensure sufficient inventory of raw materials such as sand, gravel, and cement to avoid production interruptions due to shortages.

Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and repair the metering system (with an error limit of ±2%) and the main mixer to ensure stability when the equipment is operating at full capacity.

Mix Ratio Optimization: Adjust the ingredient ratio based on the concrete strength grade (e.g., C30, C40) to maximize equipment capacity while ensuring quality. Welcome to inquire rmc plant price from us directly.
