1. Production Capacity

Mini asphalt plant: the capacity is below 40 t/h.
Medium asphalt plant: the capacity is 40-400 t/h.
Large asphalt plant: the capacity is above 400 t/h.
2. Transportation Method
According to this standard, it can be divided into stationary asphalt plant, trailer asphalt plant and mobile asphalt mixing plant.Mobile asphalt mixing plant is that the silo and mixing pot have their own tires, which can be transferred with the construction site, suitable for county and township highways and low-grade highway projects.
Trailer asphalt plant is that all the parts are installed on several trailers and assembled at the construction site, mostly for highway construction.

3. Asphalt Temperature
According to this standard, it can be dived into hot mix asphalt plant and cold mix asphalt plant.
Hot mix asphalt is heated and poured at temperatures ranging from 300 to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cold mix asphalt is the most affordable option on the market, because it doesn’t need heat during the process. It is typically used to repair cracks over an inch wide and potholes that pop up during the winter months.
4. Stirring Method
According to this standard, it can be divided into continuous asphalt drum mix plant and intermittent forced asphalt batching plant.
Continuous drum type refers to continuous stirring production. The heating and drying of the aggregate and mixing of the mixture are continuously performed in the same drum.
Forced batch type, that is, the heating and drying of the aggregate and the mixing of the mixture are forced to be performed periodically.
